Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters question?

bookworm75 asked:

In Chapter six of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters when Percy dreams of Grover in the bridal boutique he asks Grover what “it” is to conclude the dream. Where was the reference to “it” in this chapter or previous chapters. I am a bit lost. Also, Grover mentions the empathy link that he and Percy share in which connects their emotions. Was this mentioned in previous chapters? I want more info on it. Please no spoilers in any of your answers. Use only info that may be obtained from chapter prior to chapter 6. Thanks!

P.S. I am not being lazy. I have looked through previous chapter, but have not found the information.

Do you think this sounds like a stable career?

Posh Totty xx. asked:

I have a dream to go to New York City and open up a bridal boutique. However, I know that opening a business is very risky financially and doesn’t always pay off. So I’ve been considering other career options, but can’t think of anything! I am creative, but I would prefer to work in an office with a stable job, than do something really creative and earn very little. I would love to get onto film sets, maybe in the costume department, but all the jobs there means you have to be able to sew, and I hate sewing. Thank you for any suggestions! x

One more question about wedding dress.last one I promise?

ARMYwife<3 asked:

If I go to a bridal boutique & find a dress similar to the one that I really want but can’t afford, can they add stuff to the dress to make it look more like my “dream dress”?

I NEED advice on bridal boutiques in the Boston area?

Elizabeth L asked:

I have been doing so much research on bridal boutiques in MA, preferably in th Western area…no more than 30 miles away from Boston. I have done searched on reviews for almost 20 boutiques, but every review has like 3-4 really good ones and then one AWFUL one. I am terrified to start working with a boutique, pick out my dream dress, and then find out that they are awful or something goes wrong. Any suggestions on where to shop? Brides please help!! Where have you had EXCELLENT service???

Which college should I choose: NC State or UNC?

LC asked:

I’ve been accepted to both colleges, but I am having difficulty deciding. UNC sounds like the easy choice because I’ve always dreamed about going there, but State is also a good school. The reason that I’m having such a difficult time deciding is because at State I’m going to major in textiles and apparel (fashion), and at Carolina I would just have to major in business. State has the number 1 textiles program in the world, but Carolina has a really good business school. My dream is to become a buyer, and eventually open my own formal/bridal boutique. I am also very interested in rushing. I’m from North Carolina and I’m middle class. Which school do you think would be the best academically? The best socially?

Hateful Bloggers trying to ruin our family business?

GNo asked:

We own a family bridal boutique called Gioavonni’s Bridal Boutique. We have been in business for 18 years and on-line for 3. We are members of the Better Business Bureau, Trustworthy web-site Certification, and a verified merchant through authorize.net.
We make custom and replica designer wedding gowns for 1/4 of what they would retail for. We do it because we feel we have a gift and we want to share our gift as well as provide for our families.
With all that said we have two disgruntled brides.
Bride #1 Contacted us 1st back in October with a picture of a dress she loved (I never thought it was particularly pretty) but it’s not my dress! I told her yes, we can make it for her and we charged her $300 because she had an old quote from earlier in the year and we honored it. She received the dress in the time frame stated and when she received it, she emailed me and told me the dress made her look “frumpy.” I was flabbergasted! My 1st thought was the dress was frumpy by itself so of course it was going to look frumpy on you! But, I remained professional and asked her what we could do to remedy the situation and make the gown her dream dress. She stated something about adding buttons (more frump) and I said okay, send it back and we will add whatever will make you happy. A couple days later she emailed me back and said never mind she found a dress on ebay. I said okay, and I apologized and I thought that was the end of that. Well little did I know she was going to every blog, rip off site, complaint place should could find saying that Gioavonni’s Bridal Boutique ruined her wedding! I was like OMG! No, she didn’t.

Bride #2 I don’t even know who she is or if she ever purchased a dress from us. Nothing she states sounds in the least bit familiar, so I’m wondering if she has us confused with another bridal company. But low and behold she is following around Bride #1 stating some of the same issues that she had. I feel like it’s a conspiracy. Do I feel like it’s hurting our business? No, not right now, but evidentially it could.
We do have an attorney in the family who said he would be more than happy to sue them for libel and slander but first recommended that I send them a cease and desist letter letting them know that our name Gioavonni’s Bridal Boutique is copyrighted and they have no rights to use it and by continuing to do so they are opening themselves up to a lawsuit. Do I want to do that, No I don’t want it to have to come to that, but my Mother is fretful and not sleeping well, and my sisters are angry and want to write blogs with their full names, addresses, and telephone numbers along with a mapquest to their house! I won’t allow that to happen either.

Do anybody have any good advice for me and our company. We just want to fight fair even though they are playing down and dirty.

Regards,
Gioavonni’s Bridal Boutique
Walmart is copyrighted and if you start using walmarts name in “anyway” they don’t want you to ie. the walmart employees hot sexy flick! They can and they will sue you. So when I am a fortune 500 company I won’t care either, but we are not and we do care and we can stop her from using our name now.

Weird dream about me telling my boyfriend I couldn’t marry him. On our wedding day?

That Girl. asked:

I’m only 19 so, though I love weddings, I don’t often dream about them. Last night however I dreamt that I was preparing to get married to my current boyfriend. I was really upset because nothing had been done with my hair or make up and my dress was just an ordinary knee length summer dress (oh the woes lol). I seem to remember that it was a fairly inpromptu affair and that I had not had time to organise anything so my mother had done it for me. And managed to do it in practically the opposite way entirely to what I’d want.

As I waited in my room with my parents, crying, I decided to find a bridal boutique nearby and at least buy a better dress.
I set off at run for this shop across a field before stopping and realising that if I was truly ready to marry my boyfriend I’m marry him in a black sack.

I went to his room where he was getting dressed and explained that the wedding wasn’t anything like what I wanted and he was so lovely and said fine, we’d rearrange and I could plan it properly this time. I shook my head and said that as much as I loved him, I wasn’t ready to marry him.

After a long argument of him saying I couldn’t really love him he flung on his suit jacket and went to storm out of the room saying that he was going for a drink, ‘after all that’s what you (as in me) do all the time, isn’t it?’ (my student drinking habits have been a point of contention recently. As has the fact that he’s older and sees our relationship a lot further into the future than I do.)

So. Anyone fancy interpreting?
I’m always just interested to see what people think.

Should I take a job or keep pursuing my dream of entrepreneurship?

Chucktowngirl asked:

I worked for a global company for two years doing Packaging design (my degree was in graphic design) but I hated the corporate world so I left six months ago to start my own business.

I now teach as an adjunct professor a few days a week and try to build my business. I still believe in my business model but I’m running out of savings and am starting to worry I won’t be able to get it off the ground.

I have the opportunity to teach again next semester and make only part-time pay but have time to work on my business OR take a full-time job as a retail sales manager for a bridal boutique. The retail sales manager position would teach me sales and managing people skills but wouldn’t necessarily help my design career or allow me time to grow the business.

I’d love some advice!
